Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 6 (ii).] A method for increasing vegetable development consists in uniting a plurality of vegetable cuttings or seeds, planting the united elements in a group, and covering the group with a funnel member having its narrower end disposed upwards. Six vine stalks a, a<1>, .. each having different properties may be tightly bound together, planted, and covered by a bottomless bottle b. The stems then unite and a single stalk is produced, ultimately bursting the bottle, and giving a very robust plant bearing six kinds of grapes. The invention may be applied to trees, flowerseeds, cereals, or any vegetable; seeds requiring an opaque, and cuttings a transparent funnel. The seeds may be sown in groups of ten, arranged in quincunx.
