Abstract

357,016. Ladder scaffolding. HEBERLEIN, E. R. O., 14, Belsize Road, West Worthing, Sussex. Nov. 27, 1930, No. 35740. [Class 20 (ii).] A step ladder is formed in two hinged portions, one part being adapted to be turned into a horizontal position to rest on a support and provided with a collapsable seat. The part 1 of the ladder is provided with steps 8 and has the part 2 hinged to it at 5, this part being provided with a hinged step 12 adapted to form a seat and back rest when the part 2 is turned into the horizontal position. The lower part is provided with pivoted triangular frames 20 adapted to form rear supports for the ladder when in extended position, while the upper part is provided with hinged struts 25. Folding flaps 16 are also provided on the upper part to form stops for the ladder when used as a window seat.
