Abstract
354,151. Feeding webs. KODAK, Ltd., Kodak House, Kingsway, London.- (Assignees of Jones, J. G. ; Kodak Park, Rochester, New York, U.S.A.) Dec. 18, 1930, No. 38181. Convention date, Dec. 27, 1929. [Class 100 (i).] In a machine for punching the feed perforations in kinematograph film, the film is curved, adjacent the punch mechanism 3, by guides 7, 8 to prevent buckling of the film as it passes through the die. A section through the guide 7 is shown in Fig. 5. The film is positioned laterally by guides 16 and the edges of the film are held by rollers 14, 15. The die block 29 is recessed at the centre.
