Abstract

353,509. Brackets. O'HALLORAN, E. H. J., 2, Besborough Avenue, Bexley, near Sydney, Australia. April 25, 1930, No. 12799. Convention date, April 29, 1929. [Class 52 (v).] An angle bracket 10 is attached to a separately formed attaching member 7 bent at its upper end to form a hook 8 by which the bracket is suspended from a picture rail &c., 13, the lower end 9 of the member 7 being bent rearwardly to space the member from the wall. In a modification the bracket 10 is slidably connected to the attaching member. The bracket is braced by a strut 12 or a web. The end 9 may be sheathed to prevent abrasion of the wall. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a gapped or two-part ring slidably mounted on the horizontal portion of the bracket 10 to receive a curtain rod. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
