Abstract

322,651. Wicker, J. C. Dec. 14, 1928. Curtains,- suspending.-A bracket for supporting a valance rail is provided at its inner end with a downwardly bent tongue or tongues for engagement with a socket or sockets formed on the curtain rail supporting bracket or betwen bent-cut portions of this bracket and the surface to which it is secured. In the construction shown, the forked end of the valance rail bracket 13 is engaged behind bent-out portions 11<c> of the attachment 11<a> of the curtain rail supporting bracket 11. In a modification the edges of the part 11<a> are bent to form an outwardly projecting socket or sockets to receive the down-turned end of the bracket 13.
