[Class 132 (ii).] An indoor game comprises rotary targets which are arrested in one of a number of scoring positions by strikers whose motion is governed by a movable weight. A target is in the form of ratchet wheels 1 driven by the shaft 3 through frictional driving gear comprising washers or collars, one on each side of the wheel, resiliently pressed against the side faces of the wheel by means of helical springs mounted coaxially with the shaft. A striker comprises a head 7 in the form of an aeroplane mounted on a lever 4 fixed to a boss 5 rotatable on a shaft 6, the boss also having fixed to it the screw-threaded arm 9 carrying in the form of a nut the weight 8 movable within the limits of the stop nuts 10, 11. The head 7 is moved into its inoperative position by moving to the right against the action of the spring 22 the arm 27 connected to the arm 21 fixed to the shaft 6 having fixed to it a dog-toothed bush 20 which engages with a dog tooth 19 formed on the bush 5, and is there retained by the spring- controlled pawl 12 engaging a projection 13 on the head 7. The arm 27 is retained in its moved position by a notch 24 in it engaging a projection 25 in a gate 26. To release the striking head 7 the arm 27 is released and the plunger 15 actuated against the action of the spring 16 between the fixed member 17 and a collar 18 on the plunger to remove the pawl 12 against the action of the spring 14 from engagement with the projection 13 and allow the head 7 to rotate under the action of the weight 8 and stop the motion of the rotating ratchet wheel 1. The motion of the head 7 can be changed by altering the position of the weight 8 on the screw-threaded arm 9. The mechanism is mounted in a detachable frame 28 for removal from the casing 2.
