Abstract

352,203. Hair - waving appliances. GOODMAN & SONS, Inc., H., 17, West 17th Street, New York, U.S.A. June 10, 1930, No. 17849. Convention date, Feb. 6. [Class 131.] In a hair-waving device of the kind comprising a curved bar 10 to which is pivoted a co-operating wire loop 11, the loop 11 terminates at the end opposite the pivot in a constricted portion 12 having parallel straight sides 13 which project beyond the end of the bar 10, the portion 12 carrying a slide 14 provided with a hook 17 adapted to engage under a lip on the end of the bar 10. The free ends of the loop 11 are bent inwardly and engage in holes 19 in the bar 10, the pivotal connection thus formed being covered by a plate 20. Specification 309,981, [Class 131, Toilet &c.], is referred to.
