351,990. Railway rails. KURZ, H., 74, Kaiserstrasse, Ruhrort, Duisburg, Germany. March 28, 1930, No. 9973. Convention date, May 4, 1929. [Class 104 (ii).] Rails 1 of soft steel have welded insertions 2 of hard steel. At the wearing parts, the soft steel forming foot, web, and lower part of the head and having a web 3 along the outer surface of the insertion. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) the invention is shown applied to grooved rails also. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
