Abstract

351,484. Camera finders ; multiplepower telescopes. WARMISHAM, A. and KAPELLA, Ltd., 104, Stoughton Street, Leicester. March 26, 1930, No. 9605. [Classes 97 (i) and 98 (i).] A finder for a camera having a number of lenses of different focal lengths, comprises a primary telescope with which can be associated alternatively one or more secondary telescopes, the latter being designed so as to embrace the same fields of view as the camera lenses. In the construction described a primary Galilean telescope A, B has mounted in front of it a turret C, rotatable on an axis D and fitted with three pairs of telescopic lenses EF, GH IJ thereby giving six possible combinations. Calculation methods for the components are described.
