Abstract
350,250. Dart-boards. SCOTT, W. R., 272, Camden Road, Camden Town, London. June 19, 1930, No. 18782. [Class 132 (iii).] The surface of a dart-board 1 is composed of a strip 1a of paper, wood pulp or similar material formed into a compact laminar structure, the edges of the strip forming the dart-receiving surface. The board may be made in the form of a spiral by rewinding and simultaneously splitting a reel of paper or wood pulp, or it may be formed in a square shape by folding the strip repeatedly over itself. The board may be impregnated with a rubber solution. A metal band 2 is placed round the board. The numerals 5 are formed with prongs so that they can be removably attached to the board and the dividing wires 3 and rings 4 are held in place by prongs at the ends of the former and by staples 7. According to the Provisional Specification the numerals may be secured to a ring rotatably mounted in the surface of the board.
