350,004. Securing pipes or tubes to plates &c. HADEN & SONS, Ltd., G. N., St. George's Works, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, DAVIS, C. M., 117, Woodlands, Golders Green, and KING, C., 127, Columbia Road, Hackney Road, both in London. March 1, 1930, No. 6847. [Class 99 (i).] Metal conduit b is secured to a box 4 by means of a reducer or nipple 1 having a threaded shank 5, made in various sizes for conduit of different diameters, a plain or threaded neck 6, of a standard diameter larger than that of the shank 5, and a hexagon head 7. The shank may enter the conduit direct or a socket a may be interposed. In assembling, the shank 5 is first partially screwed into the conduit and the neck 6 is then started in the hole 2 of the box.
