Abstract

[Class 146 (i).] A clip or holder wherein papers &c. are held by pressure only consists of two overlapping pressure arms d, e pivotally connected at a<1> to a baseplate a and to different points d<1>, e<1> on an operating lever f. In the closed position, shown in full lines, the part f<4> of the lever f lies between the adjacent ends d<1>, e<1> of the respective arms, and is held in this position by means of two outwardly extending lugs f<2>, f3 on the lever, which engage beneath the arms d, e. The latter may be provided with lateral extensions g, adapted to extend on one or both sides for applying pressure to the papers, and the arms may be formed, as shown, of wire with the extensions g integral.
