Convention date, Sept. 3, 1929. Addition to 312,310, [Class 56, Glass]. [Class 56.] Production of metal.-Cobalt is added to the heatabsorbing borosilicate glass described in the parent Specification in order that it may give a daylight effect to transmitted artificial light. The glass is rendered heat absorbing by ferrous oxide, the ratio of ferrous oxide to cobalt oxide being between four to one and sixteen to one. Batches for suitable glasses are given in the Specification.
