Abstract

348,793. Steam traps. DAVIES & SONS, Ltd., H. and DAVIES, G., Worsley Street, Salford, Lancashire. March 25, 1930, No. 9460. [Class 64 (ii).] In a steam trap employing a capsule A, Fig. 1, containing expansible fluid, an additional diaphragm B is provided, secured at its periphery to the capsule and having an aperture b. In a modification, Fig. 3, a regulating screw C passes freely through the aperture b in the additional diaphragm b. This steam trap is stated to operate without resetting under a greater range of steam pressure than a trap with an ordinary capsule.
