348,335. Water-tube hot-water boilers. TOD, Ltd., D. and TOD, D. V., 240, Easter Road, Leith, Edinburgh. April 12, 1930, No. 11656. [Class 64 (i).] In water heaters in which a storage tank 18 enclosing the flue pipe from a sectional water-tube boiler 12 is mounted on top of the boiler casing 10, a water passage 19 wholly or partially surrounding the flue pipe connects the boiler and the tank. This passage may be formed by a sleeve 21 round the flue 20. The tank 18 is attached to the boiler by a branch 24 containing the water connections. The draught is controlled by a baffle 29, which may consist of a shell filled with broken firebrick, and radial baffle plates 30, all mounted on a movable rod 31.
