[Class 20 (i).] A skating-rink mixture consists of an inorganic crystalline salt with a lactate, preferably of the same metal as the salt, Sodium thiosulphate with sodium lactate is one example given. The composition is stated to be improved by the addition of a sulphate, a carbonate, or a phosphate, or a mixture of two or all of these salts, to the thiosulphate.
