Abstract

344,332. Sparking- plugs. BOSCH, AKT.- GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Aug. 15, 1930, No. 24448. Convention date, Dec. 4, 1929. [Class 7 (iv).] A metal cap 8 is retained by a bow-spring 7 the ends of which engage in a ring 6 rotatably disposed on the plug body. The spring may be bent inwardly or outwardly for for engaging the ring the openings in which may be flared. The ring may be in two portions held together by a split spring-ring, or hinged together at one end and connected by a catch or screw at the other. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) the cable lead 30 enters the side of the cap 8, and its metallic covering is clamped over the socket 31. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
