343,547. Adjustments for slidable seats. CHAPMAN, A. W., 115, Howards Lane, Putney, London. Nov. 15, 1929, No. 35038. Addition to 323,470, [Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon]. [Class 52 (ii).] The slidable seat of the parent Specification is provided with a hook or jaw 13 whereby the locating element 8 may be conveniently transferred from one position to any other position of locking adjustment without taking the same in the fingers. The hook 13 is shown on the end of a spring-pressed rod 14 carrying a trigger-piece 15 at the other end. When the trigger is raised the hook holds the pin 8 within the notch 12 of the catch-bar 9 so that the pin 8 and bar 9 can then be raised together.
