[Class 142 (iii).] A weft detector 17 or other weft feeler, used to indicate the failure of weft supply and adapted to slide between plates 18, 19, is supported by a member 23 which is freely mounted on a tie rod 12 of the weft magazine to permit a yielding movement of the detector in the case of misplacement of a bobbin. A guide member 34, longitudinally and angularly adjustable on the tie rod 12 is provided with a notched arm 36 to limit the rearward movement of the support 23 under action of a spring 31, the position of the rear end of the notch being determined by the set-screw 35. Under normal conditions the support 23 remains at rest, the spring 31 being sufficiently strong to overpower the yielding devices which act upon the detector.
