Convention date, Aug. 18, 1928. Divided on 317,471, [Class 29, Cooling &c.]. [Class 29.] Evaporators. - The means described in Specification 317,471 for preventing deposition of rime on cooling elements of refrigerating apparatus is applied to apparatus used solely for cooling the surrounding air. The cooling element, comprising for example a header 10 and pipes 11, is insulated by a jacket of air or other non-conducting medium confined by an outer finned casing 12 through which the heat is transferred. Specifications 288,730 and 295,146, [both in Class 29, Cooling &c.], also are referred to.
