Abstract

341,515. Pipe supports. CHAMBERS, C. and WEIGHTMAN, J. S., Dale End Works, Birmingham. Oct. 15, 1929, No. 31224. [Class 99 (ii).] A device for supporting a plurality of pipes from a ceiling &c. comprises a stem 14, Fig. 2, having an end flange 15 for attachment to the ceiling, and an inverted T-shaped bracket 16 adjustably mounted thereon, the head 22 of the bracket being formed with one or more recesses 24 provided with closing caps 25 to receive the said pipes. The bracket is attached to the stem by caps 19, 20 which envelop the stem and are secured to the bracket by screws 21, and the stem is preferably provided at its lower end with a pin &c. to prevent removal of the bracket. In a modified form for an inclined pipe, Fig. 5, the pipe is secured to the bracket 16 by a two-part clip 29 which is swivelly mounted upon a lug 27 of the bracket. The invention is particularly applicable to the supporting of beer pipes in cellars.
