Abstract

212,142. Bennett, G. W. April 16, 1923. Clip brackets; adjusting and securing. - Glass or like plates, such as splash plates, are supported in parallel relation to the wall &c. bv upper and lower brackets a, b, with grooves to receive the edges of the glass x so that it can be slid in and out of position. In modified constructions the glass may be released by providing pivoted arms n on the upper brackets as in Fig. 7, or the arms mav carry releasable screwclamping-means t as in Fig. 8. An L-shaped hanging shelf bracket g may be provided having a bifurcated hook at its upper end to engage the glass plate on either side of the supporting bracket a. The upper brackets may be formed with lugs to carry ring brackets for tumblers, or these ring brackets may have bifurcated ends embracing the top supporting brackets and grooves engaging the top edge of the glass plate.
