341,186. Pressing-and-cooking apparatus. EYNON, J. W., 2, Crompton Road, Handsworth, Birmingham. Nov. 15, 1929, No. 34907. [Class 28 (ii).] A cooking and pressing vessel for ham or other meat has the pressure bar 7 mounted in upstanding brackets 2, 3, formed with horizontal slots 4 and round holes 5 adapted to be engaged respectively by a tooth 9 at one end of the bar and a sliding bolt 11 working in a notch at the other end. The bar carries a detachable curved laminated leaf spring 8 bearing on a raised platform 10 which serves as a handle for the pressure plate or cover 6.
