[Class 56.] Drawing.-Relates to a method of rendering molten glass homogeneous,as it flows from a tank furnace 1 to a drawing apparatus 7, by submerging a rotating cylindrical member 4 in the glass. According to the invention, the member is situated in a chamber 3 which is separated from the drawing chamber, and is so arranged that it reaches nearly to the bottom of the body of glass. The member rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow and carries the glass below a cooling device 5.
