Abstract

340,340. Retractive switches for steering-wheels. ADAMS, E. S. R., Driftway, Epsom, Surrey. Oct. 7, 1929, No. 30309. [Class 38 (v).] For operaing motor horns. A pushbutton switch 4 is clamped to the steering column and is operated by a lever 10 pivoted at 11 and having an arcshaped portion 12 extending near the steering wheel 13. The lever is returned to its full-line position by a spring within a pillar 7. The pivot 11 is located in another pillar 6 and the pillars 6, 7 together with nuts 8 serve to secure together the two portions 4a, 4b of the base of the switch.
