A switch for controlling the circuit of an indicating device on a motor vehicle, is adapted to be operated by pressure of the driver'sknee on the end of an adjustable arm. The arm may be the actuating lever of a switch that is fixed to the body of the vehicle, or the switch may be attached to the end of the arm. The figure shows two push-button switches 12, 13 arranged at the end of an arm 7 swivelly attached to the steering column 1. Pressure of the right knee on the button 13 will illuminate an arrow or the like pointing to the right, and pressure of the left knee on the button 12 will illuminate an arrow pointing to the left.
