339,779. Norris, M., and Stevenson & Sons, Ltd., H. Dec. 3, 1929. Disc closures.-A closing disc for milk bottles &c. is formed with a single cut or weakening 5 so that when pressed inwardly at this part a segment of the periphery is raised clear of the bottle-neck and can be grasped and the disc removed. The ends of the cut 5 lie in a chord and the disc bends along the said chord when pressed. The cut 5 is of V, U or arcuate formation extending towards but short of the centre of the disc. The parts 7 of the disc may be weakened to facilitate bending.
