Abstract
339,304. Triggs, W. W., (B÷hler & Co., Akt.-Ges., Geb.). Aug. 29, 1929. Walls.-Sheet metal b is secured to the inside faces of supports a. Fig. 1, and insulating material c, such as plaster or porous concrete, is applied on the outside of the supports, and may be in the form of plates and be coated with plaster d. The metal sheets b are covered with similar insulating material f, and strips of cork or peat e may be placed over the inner faces of the supports. The space k may be filled with insulating material g. In the modification shown in Fig. 2, wire fabric h is secured to the outside of the supports, and the porous concrete or other filling g is cast in situ. Wire fabric i may also be secured on the inner face. The supports may be iron, timber, concrete, or other material.
