Abstract
339,077. Chasselon, R. L. Nov. 3, 1928, [Convention date]. Laces.-A method of tagging laces &c. consists in turning on itself a portion of the lace e.g. by .clamping the lace between two clampe A, B and rotating one or both of the clamps, and in preventing the coiled portion from unwinding by enclosing it in a sheath E, Fig. 4. The lace portion thus tagged is cut off e.g. at the part marked with a line D. The sheath may be formed from paper, cloth, the material known under the registered Trade Mark cellophane, threads, &c. and may be made by rolling thin sheets of the material on itself several times, the various layers being glued together.
