Order apparatus. - In a ship's telegraph system in which a resultant field type receiver is employed the receiver armature 45 consists of a light permanent magnet and moves over the poles of the receiver magnets 41 which are mounted parallel to the axis of the receiver. The magnet carries a pointer which indicates the position to which the armature has moved and is weighted so that the pointer indicates an off position when the apparatus is not in use.
