Abstract
336,656. Robinson, J. July 18, 1929. Endless-chain type of hydraulic motors. The buckets D on a chain d move in a tank A full of water. They pass over pulleys B, B<1>, the pulley B<1> being preferably suspended in the loop. The buckets are filled by water from a tank F and in descending pass through a separate oompartment E which is nearly sealed by members e, e<1>. A valve g controls the flow from the compartment E to a reservoir G from which water is pumped to the tank F by a pump H driven from the shaft b of the upper wheel B. The tank F may be kept filled from another source.
