Abstract

Delivery apparatus.-Sheets delivered from a rotary stencil or type duplicator are collected in a tray hinged to the base-plate 6 of the machine and comprising end members 1, 2 connected by an extensible bottom 3 with members 4 thereon serving as sides for the tray. The bottom 3 consists of levers 3<1> pivoted together in lazy-tongs fashion and is provided at one extremity with sleeves 11 sliding on a rod 2 pivoted to eyes 5 on the base-plate 6 so that when collapsed the tray may be turned upwardly out of the way of other parts of the machine. At the outer end of the bottom 3, one lever 3<1> is pivoted at 7 to the bottom flange 1<1> on the end member 1 and the other lever 3<1> is connected by a pin-and-slot arrangement 8, 10 to the member 1. The member 1 is provided with side-walls 1<11> and the levers 3<1> are formed with vertical members 4 forming the sides of the tray. The members 4 may consist of posts having reduced lower ends forming the outer pivot pins of the levers 3<1>.
