Abstract

331,962. Dobbie, E. D. April 27, 1929. Spray carburettors.-A floatactuated needle valve 4 is retained on its seating by a spring-loaded piston 3 when the engine is at rest, the piston being held clear during running by the engine suction. A non- return valve 8 is located in the suction conduit 2 whilst an anticushioning vent 9 is provided in the cylinder wall on the side of the piston remote from the valve.
