Abstract
330,495. Morriss, F. E. March 13, 1929. Divided on 330,609, [Class 20 (i), Buildings and structures, Kinds &c. of]. Cabinets.-A folding wall chest or cabinet consists of five panels, viz., two side panels 2, a top panel 7, 8 and a bottom panel 4, all hinged to the wall and a front panel 6 hinged to the bottom panel 4. The top panel is in two parts 7, 8 connected by hinges and aligned by means of a turn button 9. The bottom panel 4 is supported on ledges 3 on the side panels 2, and the front panel is held erect by a hook-ended rod 10 which enters notches 11 in the panels 2. The panels 6, 7 have respectively a staple 13 and link 12 to enable the chest to be locked. The parts 4, 6 may be folded into a recess in the wall, and the parts 2, 7 folded over them. In the folded position, the rod 10 may be passed through the eye of the link 12 and eyelets on the side panels 2.
