Bed-rests.-A bedstead of the kind in which a part of the head-end is adapted to be moved into an inclined position to serve as a back-rest for the occupant, comprises vertical pillars a, two vertical tubular guides f rigidly attached thereto, two members h adapted to slide in said guides and having their upper ends bent into the horizontal, a tube j or equivalent member rotatably carried on said ends, members k constituting the filling of the head-end attached to the member j and stops n rigidly attached to the filling members and adapted to encounter the pillar a to limit their rearward movement. Fig. 2 shows the device in use as a bed-rest.
