329,470. Clothier, G. D. April 15, 1929. Goggles. - A transparent face shield A comprises a single sheet of transparent material adapted to extend over the nose and both eyes of the wearer and provided with a slot or with a slot C for each eye so that the wearer's vision is not obscured when the shield is covered with moisture. A spongy rubber padding B is provided - along the top and sides and the lower edge is left open. The hand straps D, D<1> are passed through slots F in the shield, one being secured by adhesive and the other provided with a metal loop F<2> for adjustment. A ductile wire passes round the edge of the shield to enable it to be fitted to the face.
