292,451. Luker, F. M. May 7, 1928. Addition to 287,403. Women's hats.-Instead of cutting a gap at the lower edge of the hat body and bridging the gap by elastic material, as described in the parent Specification, one or more slits are made at the edge of the body and normally held closed by elastic material. The external appearance may be as described in the parent Specification. In a modification, the edges of the slit c may be held together by an elastic lacing g, a strip of ribbon being provided behind the slit.
