Gloves.-Fabric gloves such as knitted gloves are made at those parts liable to wear of a more resistant material than that used for the remainder of the glove. A glove may be knitted of wool and certain parts, such as those parts A that are liable to wear, are knitted of cotton or the like. The inside of the fingers and thumbs, as well as most of the palm, may be knitted of the more resilient material. In a modification the whole of the palm and the back of the fingers may be of cotton or the like. The wool and cotton are knitted together without any seam on a flat bed machine by feeding the two halves of the bed with the dissimilar materials. In the manufacture of a tubular knitted glove the wrists are first made in the usual manner and may be either double or single fabric, but for the hand and finger parts a flat bed machine is necessary having a double cam box and two feeds.
