328,762. Kodak, Ltd., and Lawrence, P., (Executrix of Lawrence, J. H.). April 8, 1929. Roll-film cartridges.-Upon and in contact with the sensitive surface of a roll film is superimposed a second transparent support which carries a reversal sensitive emulsion, and is separable after exposure from the main plate or film for independent treatment by reversal to produce a positive proof of the negative which will subsequently be produced by developing the main film. The sensitive layer on the second support may be a thin, transparent emulsion. The two emulsions are preferably placed in contact, and their supports are held together at the margins, as by adhesive, or binding strips. Transverse perforations may be formed in the second support in order that this may be separated from the main length of film either as a whole, or exposure by exposure.
