Abstract

327,400. Jones, H. P. Dec. 31, 1928. Emulsions, making.- Apparatus for emulsifying or mixing comprises a closed container e in which is a closed cylinder a having fine radial perforations b at its upper and lower ends through which the material is forced alternately into and out of the cylinder by a plunger j. The perforations may be formed axially in the ends of the cylinder which are in this case spaced from the container, and the plunger may also be perforated. Baffles may be provided over the holes b on the outside of the cylinder. Specification 9822/91, [Class 86, Mixing &c.], is referred to.
