Wire resistances.-A frame for electric heating resistances comprises a stay bar or bars 8, 9 with a series of substantially co-planar sheets of insulating material 7 clipped thereto and supporting the resistance wire 13. The stay bars may be used as conductors and are therefore insulated from the surrounding casing 5 by spacing devices 16. Specifications 288,799 and 302,550 are referred to.
