Abstract
327,047. Kali - Forschungs - Anstalt Ges. Feb. 11, 1929, [Convention date]. Gases, separating mixtures of. - Nitrosyl chloride is removed from a mixture with inert gases, chiefly nitrogen, arising during the production of postassium nitrate from potassium chloride and nitrous gases, by absorption in silica gel, active carbon or ferric chloride, with which latter an additive compound FeCI,.NOCl is formed. Nitrosyl chloride is liberated by heating the absorption medium.
