Abstract

326,046. Stanley, A. H., (Maxson, C. B. and Maxson, J. W.). March 27, 1929. Delivery apparatus.-A web 2 is fed at high speed and severed by blades 8, 10. The sheets fall between high-speed tapes 9, 11 and are fed in overlapping relation to low-speed tapes 15 discharging to a stack 17. As the sheets are picked up by the tapes 15 they pass between adjustable presser rolls 28 driven by tractior. Low speed tapes 13 engage the sheets at the discharge end.
