Abstract

325,298. Bate & Son, Ltd., J. J., and Bate, W. N. Nov. 21, 1928. Moulds.-Patterned bricks, blocks &c. are produced in moulds whereof the walls are formed by a pair of angle members pivoted together about one edge, the inner surfaces of the members being provided with a cement layer adapted to produce the pattern. The cement layer is applied to the members and when sufficiently set a pattern is drawn or designed thereon. Removable insert members as disclosed in Specification 319,521 may be employed. According to the Provisional Specification, a metal cement reinforced or diluted with iron filings, brickdust, sand, &c. may be used.
