Abstract
324,109. Bindphast Products, Ltd., and Greene, J. A. Oct. 18, 1928. Insulating materials, - An electric insulating material compnses as a base slate, slate waste, quarry and collierv refuse which has been pulverized and passed through a magnetic separator to remove the metallic impurities. The binding material is preferably a mixture of magnesium chloride and calcined magnesite in equal proportions, forming 15 to 20 per cent of the whole, water being added to render the mass plastic. A small percentage of alum and asbestos may be added, and to produce a brilliant finish, the formed material may be coated with an anti-sulphuric enamel,
