Abstract

305,415. Richter, G. April 25, 1928. Porous compositions. - Concrete is rendered porous by the addition of aluminium powder which has been activated by heating with mercuric chloride so as to decompose water readily. The mixture may be thick enough to retain the sand and other aggregates in suspension, and the proportions are such that the setting commences just as the gas generation reaches a maximum.
