323,802. Carpmael, A., (I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges.). Oct. 10, 1928. Copper cyanides or thiocyanides combined with organic bases. - Gupric cyanic and thiocyanic compounds, suitable for use as dusting compounds for combating insect pests, are formed by precipitating a cupric salt with a cyanide or thiocyanide and an organic nitrogen compound such as methylamine, ethylenediamine, urea, guanidine, aniline, pyridine, piperidine &c. Insoluble cupric compounds are produced.
