Angular bending; corrugating.-The rims b or an intermediate part of the body of a sheet metal vessel or container a is contracted or expanded by bending it round a drawing edge by one or more pairs of forming rollers g, f, which are radially displaceable with respect to the work, the rollers of each pair being yieldingly held together by a pressure or tension device. The drawing edge may consist of a roller d and an external ring c. The rollers d, f, q or the work rotate about the axis of the work during operation.
