Abstract

323,532. Carson, N. B. Oct. 3, 1928. Moulding floors and roofs in situ.-Concrete floors and roofs carried by columns are moulded in situ by suspending the shuttering 15, Fig. 2, from temporary beams 13, which are secured to brackets 13a, 13b on the columns 12 above the floor level and space and align the columns until the concrete has set. The suspension means 17, 18 for the shuttering is of the kind described in Specification 308,105. For roofs, the suspension 30, 31, Fig. 6, may be secured to the tops of the columns by temporary stiffened plates and brackets and above the roof 23; or the beams 30, 31 may be encased with expanded metal and coated with concrete and form permanent roof beams, the shuttering being suspended between them and the roof moulded above them.
