Abstract

323,044. Egger, A. Sept. 20, 1928. Calibrating instruments.-A device for use with current transformers for connecting alternating current meters and instruments for testing purposes comprises an arrangement of separate terminal blocks on an insulating baseplate or baseplates and connecting devices by means of which the blocks can be interconnected in various ways to connect or disconnect the instruments or any phase connection thereof, or to short-circuit the secondary windings of the transformers T. As shown in Fig. 9, two baseplates for the current and pressure terminals respectively are employed, the former having metal segments K1 - - K5 adapted to be interconnected by largeheaded screws 12 screwing into the insulating base, while the tension terminals V1 are interconnected by sliding contacts 7 shown in Fig. 5.
